What I Ate... on Sunday:
[breakfast] my go-to pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese [half un-photographed because it went into my face before snapping the photo!] along with some fresh strawberries and strawberry yogurt [snack] more berries [lunch] we stopped by Schlotzky's before heading to the grocery store and I scarfed an utterly delicious 8-inch veggie pizza.  Clocking in around 650 calories, it gave me my veggie fix and kept me full for quite a while! [dinner] I whipped up and face-planted into the first meal I've been able to cook in like, four months: Marbled Russet and Sweet Potato Samosa Potatoes [snack] pistachios!!! Ohmygosh so, recently I was on a plane with Paul where the rather ravenous gentleman next to us annihilated an entire bag of pistachios on the flight.  P literally had to hold me back from reaching over the seat and asking him to share.  Once we got home he was brilliant enough to pick me up my own bag of salty amazingness.  I've been scarfing them ever since -- Thanks P! <3

Peas and Crayons

March will be the month of GREEN What I Ate Wednesday posts!
Head over to last week's post for details and examples of what we'll be up to all month long.

I'm going to keep my post short and sweet today so we can see what you guys have been up to instead.  Spill it! <3

  1. Haha! I would have paid cash money to have sat on the other side of you on that plane! And girl...I've never said this, but geez, that is the most beautiful pic of pistachios I've ever seen! ;)

And now I wish we had a Schlotzky's because that pizza looks BEYOND amazing!

Happy WIAW love! And thanks for your help earlier with the HTML! xoxo

  3. I'm feeling the pistachio love. I bought a whole bag a couple weeks ago and then I went and got braces, and "whole nuts" are out for the foreseeable future. Grumble, grumble.
Love all the berries and Schlotzky's. We don't have any in our area, but I've been before and they are great.

  4. I cannot tell you the number of times that I've been staring at someone's food in a restaurant, and they've looked over and said, "Want a bite?"

    OK. I can tell you.

    Twice.

However, the number of times when I have been CAUGHT staring and then watched the patron inch a little bit closer their plate, perfecting the "this is mine" huddle?

    Countless.

  27. That's funny, I had wicked cravings for pistachios during my first trimester and ALWAYS made sure I had a stash of them on hand. Wait, I STILL always make sure I have pistachios in the house! Us pregnant ladies have very special needs, don't we? ;)

  28. Oh pistachios! I went through a serious pistachio phase over the summer but then I started getting made when I couldn't open all of them haha! The BF even tried to open one with pliers...don't try that. It exploded all over!
