This is Madison.
Madison is adopted.
We've recently learned she has a bit of a catnip problem.

"My Precious..."
Her love for her "kitty pot" filled lion runneth over. I could say I'm surprised... but she's of the ginger variety and therefore made of equal parts crazy and fluff.
Emphasis on the crazy.

she is so cute !
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie!!
DeleteAdorable! Long-haired kittehs are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks. If only they didn't shed!!! Yowza!
DeleteOh my goodness she's so adorable!! She's just like my crazy little cat haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brittany!
DeleteI expect no less of the cuteness/crazy factor coming from any animal belonging to you ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha we're all nutso in this household ;)
DeleteHehe love! This just reminds me of how badly I wish I could get a cat, but allergies say no :( And are those unhung picture frames that I spy? Still working on the perfect hanging arrangement? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm allergic too! For some reason she doesn't send me face first into Benadryl though. Phew! The frames need to sprout legs and hang themselves - I have no clue where to put them :)
DeleteShe's so fluffy I'm gonna die! Maddie is gorgeous. I know you say she can be an A-hole, but that face is just so cute. I'm a succer for fluffy kitties.
ReplyDeleteShe really is a jerk. But so cuddly. I can't stay mad at that throw pillow for long ;)
DeleteBwahahahahahaaaahaaaahaaaaaa!!!!! Story of my life! Weasley doesn't play with toys too much, but I do sprinkle cat nip on his scratching boxes and he rolls all over them and then sleeps on top of them. It's quite hysterical. I love kitties!
ReplyDeleteI see you're also a fan of kitty hallucinogenics. It's just too amusing not to ;)
DeleteHahaha, I love this post! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face while at work :)
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Happy Valley Chow
I was hoping this would get a giggle or two :) smiling's my FAVORITE!
Deletehaha, cats are crazy..Im allergic, thats why I have dogs!
ReplyDeleteI long for a puppy!
DeleteI am totaly not a cat person and one of my other bloggers always shows her cats in her emails first and then when I click on her blog I can not even figure out what her blog is about except for cat pictures, I find out there was nothing there but cat pictures. I don't what to be rude but, what's up with the cats. You went from PEAS AND CRAYRONS to what, a CAT LADY! Go sign up for PLAIN CHICKENS blog if you love cats so much! Enough with the Cats!
ReplyDeleteGod, I love my son so much I would die for him but you will not see him on my blog! And we have three dogs, and you won't see them on our blog either.
Who shit in your corn flakes?!
DeleteJenn, that cat is adorable. I demand more kitty posts. Haters gonna hate.
Wow, Cindy. Such vitriol for possibly the stupidest thing on the planet for which to conjure vitriol.
DeletePlain chickens? How does that even make sense? Wouldn't it be plain cats?
Also, you love your son so much you'd die for him but not mention him on your blog? You realize how utterly stupid that sounds, right?
Maybe Jenn just designed this post to ferret out the cat haters to see what their unintelligible responses would be. I'd say she was successful!
Such a rude comment! I am sorry if your son and your dogs are not interesting enough to blog about, but that doesn't mean you should be mean to people that have awesome lives. Every blogger is different. I would much rather get to know the person and their family rather than it be only recipes. The funny things keep me coming back. If you do not enjoy the site then do not view it.
DeleteMadison looks like one happy kitty!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness she is a sweetheart!!!! Love that last pic. And my cat says he is a bit in love with her lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robyn!!!!
Delete1. @ the angry cat hater. Pbbbthhh. This is a hate free zone. Shoo.
ReplyDelete2. @ Cat I snorted when I read "maybe Jenn just designed this post to FERRET out the cat haters" Ferret. Now its time for more Bullet the ferret montage photos. :D
3. @ Jenn. It is Bullet right?
That was crazy right!? I'm still in shock! It was a silly Friday post to get a few giggles not ruin someone's whole day! Oh dear.. Ooh yes and Bullet the Ferret needs his blog love too! He's feeling under the weather still. My poor furball! Eep!
DeleteI think cat hater forgot to have her veggies and/or coffee before posting! Yikes. @angry cat hater...if you can't say something nice, don't say nuttin' at all!! @Jenn...you were spot on with the post...made me giggle and remind me of my late kitty. He used to have a catnip "issue" too. :)
DeleteOh my goodness! I've been reading your blog for quite a while but this is the first time i've felt compelled to comment. Madison is the most adorable cat i've ever seen! That crazy lil face is too precious for words. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this cat - always wanted a yellow fluff ball. He is adorable.
ReplyDeleteSHe is the cutest little fluffball!
ReplyDeletehahaha! My cat likes catnip but not like that. Now, if I put tuna in a toy then I don't know what would happen. How cute!
ReplyDeleteI love cats! And I love Peas and Crayons! So keep 'em coming. :)Which makes me think I should introduce Robin too!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how I missed this post last week, but I love it! That is one freakin' adorable and crazy cat. I gave Oscar, my kitten, nip for the first time on New Year's Eve (we should all get a little cocktail on NYE's right?!), and the hijinks which ensured were great. Cats on nip is like watching drunk people stumble around...but better and safer.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure what to say about the cat hater commenter above; maybe she wanted some nip too. People are strange. Keep doing you.
