Today has been the ultimate lazy day. Cloudy and cold outside with a comfy couch and blankets inside. A perfect day for catching up on everyone's What I Ate Wednesday posts with cooking shows playing in the background and... oh yea! A giveaway! <3
Around this time last year, I won a giveaway over at my dear friend Alicia's blog Eco Friendly Homemaking. Ever since I've been an Eco Natural Soap junkie. Actually, I should throw a "we" in there because Paul has been stealing this stuff all along, especially the chapstick-esque lip balms, which put even the most expensive brands to shame. They also last a lot longer (I've been using these products for nearly a year and haven't run out of a single one) than store brands because water and fillers are not added to bulk up the products -- all active ingredients means the tiniest dab of balm goes a long way.
My favorite would have to be the troubled skin balm: It smells like coconut and eucalyptus and boasts the most insane ingredient list I've ever seen on a product. Insane in a good way. This stuff is Ah-mazing! When i'm feeling stressed out, I'm almost guaranteed a stress pimple, so anything that's going to zap them is golden in my book. Ingredients include virgin coconut, avocado, goji berry, green tea, turmeric and many many more. Amazing, right? The lip relief balms are my other favorite. Especially the lime... it tastes like key lime pie and is more buttery + moisturizing than the big-name natural lip balms since it contains more oils + less beeswax in the formula. Brilliant.
I also sampled their Exotic Butters Luxury Balm, Body Bar, & Lip Balm in Citrus Sunrise. HOLY CRAP THIS STUFF IS LIKE BUTTER!!!!! <--- it's that amazing.

It also smells out of this world amazing. The scent of citrus has been known to boost your mood, refresh your senses, and also ward off "snackiness" <-- that's an actual word right? Basically it wards off the munchies. You won't ever find vanilla or sugar scented products in my house for this reason, everything I own from candles to soaps is either earthy, floral or citrus scented.

Citrus sunrise soap--I love citrus-y soaps, they smell extra clean to me. Closest shave balm--who can say no to a good shaving product? Peppermint lip balm--because YUM, peppermint!

These products all sound amazing! I had such a hard time choosing, but my top three would have to be the facial rejuvenator soap, back pain & muscle relief balm (my fiance needs it!) and the lip relief all natural unscented.

Okay, this may sound odd, but I would really love the pet shampoo. I think conventional pet shampoos make me itch as much if not more than my dogs. I've taken to using Eucalan to wash my dogs but this sounds like a great alternative!
I'm most excited about the idea of the lip balm! I work at a super dry place, and my lips often get sore. The lime sounds amazing! Does the shaving skin soap count, I'd want that! And probably just stick out the theme and get the balm, too!

I'm a bit of a hippie, so this is awesome! I would choose the Lemon-Rosemary lip balm and the Coconut Milk and Honey Moisturizer bar (and then would have to cook extra to avoid eating what I bought). And the Pet Skin & Paw Allergy Relief Balm for my poor Lulu - she's a Frenchie with the notorious breed allergies. She chews her little feet raw in the winter!
