Sushi in Downtown Wilmington
Our fabulous indoor farmer's market slash neighborhood grocery store finally opened up!
Carolina Farmin' was super fun to explore.
I've already fallen in love with the Carolina Strawberry Beer they carry.
Local sauces, pickles, and produce GALORE!
Bulk bins of 10000 different granola and snack mixes.
I wanted to jump for joy when I noticed the healthiest stuff was the first to run out.
Hooray for sensible shoppers!
Boredom-induced photo sesh in the car made me realize I might need to slap on an extra layer or two of bronzer + self tanner. I don't want anyone to confuse me with a ghost! <3
Or Roxy.
Like mother like daughter =) Gosh we're pale!
So since i'm finally kicked back and catching up, what did you do this weekend?

What an awesome store...an indoor farmer's market? Love it! And I had sushi for dinner last night too! Yum!
ReplyDeleteIts a glorious concept right!? and I THINK it's year round.. which will be great when all the farmer's market stands are closed to have at lease one place open with local veggies! I'm hoping I can get tooons of squash and pumpkin in the fall/winter!
ReplyDeleteYou're totally gorgeous, but I most definitely understand the need for self-tanner. ;) I'm very fair skinned as well but I don't like to tan because I worry about skin cancer. So I am all about tanning lotions! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're adorable and I love the comment about Roxy. SHE'S ADORABLE. Oh my gosh our ferritos would have a great party one day :)
ReplyDeleteWell I can see where Roxy gets her stunning looks from ;) You look gorgeous, girl, but I totally hear ya on not wanting to be confused with Casper's second cousin. I'm really pale as well, which is why I try to spend some time in the sun when I can... which is what I did a lot of this weekend :D That and some shopping, and reading, and relaxing... just the same old :)
ReplyDeleteWe need a store like that!
ReplyDeleteI went to Hobby Lobby and out to lunch with a friend and then out to dinner with my husband yesterday and today was church and we had friends over for dinner and cake for their daughter's birthday :)
I love your little ferrett!!
Mmm, that sushi looks so good! Your new store reminds me of a store here, Sprouts, I need to go there more. Sooooo yum! :)
ReplyDeleteoh yum! i LOVE bulk bins like that! it looks like heaven.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, and thanks for making me crave sushi like crazy now....
So here I am thinking "She's gorgeous!" and you're all "oh, I need bronzer". Hah! No need! You're already lovely as is. I went to university in a city that had a year-round indoor farmer's market on the main floor of a mall, of all places. loved that place!
ReplyDeleteThat bulk bin looks amazing! And I'm totally jealous of your real, raw sushi :(
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful!! :) buut I dunno about the other little gal :)
ReplyDeleteStrawberry beer?! Sign me up!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding!? Your skin is gorgeous! No extra color needed!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a neat store! I love visiting new grocery shops when I travel, to see how they compare to home :) If I get down to the SE I'll check this place out!
ReplyDeleteaaah! this place looks AMAZING!! I just moved to North Carolina, I wonder if they have one in the Triangle.....
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to have a farmers market like that where I live! Looks like you had a fun weekend! I had a major panic on when our bed broke :-(
ReplyDeleteLOOK at those bulk bins!! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour skin tone is lovely! And your complexion is also flawless. Lots of people are tanned but I'd much prefer to be paler quite honestly. I think it looks elegant!

Farmers Market, some pulled pork at a fancy BBQ restaurant (no paper towels on the tables...gasp!), cooking, The Help...pretty fun weekend overall :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I would like some Strawberry Beer.
ReplyDeleteThank you.

ReplyDeleteMmm...strawberry beer sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI spent the weekend in Denver with my boyfriend's family.

If you're worried about getting confused with a ghost, then I must be constantly scaring small children! Or maybe I'm more likely to be confused with an albino.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm Sushi. Looks so delicious, and I'm pretty sure it's GF, so I believe a sushi date is much needed!
Kinda jealous of that awesome store! Um love the eye makeup too! :)
ReplyDeleteyay for bulk bins!! glad you guys had a good weekend! i have been on a sushi kick lately!!
