True Life: I'm a zombie most mornings
This particular morning, I walked past C-dawg the Cilantro plant thinking:
"You're due for some water!"
and proceeded to pour the cup of coffee I was holding into the plant.
We now return to your regularly scheduled [What I Ate Wednesday] stalkage =)

HAHAH! Oh my goodness that is funny :D
ReplyDeleteI do things like this all the time!
Ahahahahaha. That is SO something I would do!
ReplyDeleteThis title, the fact that you call your plant c-dawg...and well, this entire post...it all makes my day :-)
ReplyDeletelol love it!
ReplyDeleteAhah love it. Made my morning :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the caffeine will make it grow better?? Who knows!
ReplyDeleteummm...was it HOT coffee??? unless you roasted C-dawg to death, it may be ok. At work we used to dump old coffee into the desk plant up front. just cuz we were lazy.
ReplyDeleteThat plant was so freakin healthy!
...and I use coffee grounds in my garden...I will cross my fingers for your cilantro!
LOL
ahahaha... I've actually heard caffeine (in small doses) helps plants. Seriously... you may have mutant cilantro on your hands in a few days!
ReplyDeleteSleep with one eye open...
You might be onto something--maybe this batch will have a hint of coffee in its flavor?
ReplyDeleteI once threw my lunch in the trash and brought my trash to work instead (they both were in plastic bags). Oops!
Hahah totally something I would do!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, can't wait to see how C-dawg reacts to the "jitter juice".
ReplyDeleteOMG. whoooopsie! i know some ppl put coffee grounds in their plants to make them grow. so who knows maybe it'll be a good thing?! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeletewow ok we are destined to be. C-Dawg?!? that is the best thing i've heard all day
ReplyDeletebahahaha. poor little C!
ReplyDeletelol! I could totally see myself doing that. Well, now you'll have extra flavorful cilantro.
ReplyDeleteC-dawg is totally gonna rock a growth spurt later today.
ReplyDeletehahahah i bet your plant is wide away now!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAA! That's totally something I would do first thing in the morning :). I actually think coffee it good for plants ... something about the ph. Afterall, coffee grounds are GREAT for gardens, so maybe you're on to something.
ReplyDeletewhoops. ever done the coffee/OJ in the cereal? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not guilty of that at ALL.
no expletives come out of my mouth when I do it, either.
That is how I act on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the coffee. Replace coffee with orange juice, and that's me.

That's pretty awesome. I'm a morning person, so I usually do things like that at night. And I do thinks like that pretty often at night. Sadly.
ReplyDeleteHaha oh my gosh, I laughed so hard out loud when I read this. Sounds like something I would have done.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is hilarious! Just about as hilarious as you naming your cilantro plant "C-Dawg". Love it!!
ReplyDeleteJenny
I've read that some plants do well if you water them with coffee! Seriously!! Maybe your cilantro will grow out of control now. I need to start naming my plants :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh....in the words of Kohl! That is why I refuse to do anything before the first cup of coffee....hehe!
ReplyDeleteohhhh no!! lol. i HATE when i do stuff like that!
ReplyDeleteI was actually messing with my blog earlier, which is why the text didn't show up. I tried something that epically failed. It has been abandoned now, so you are free to read. :)

Haha! Omg too damn funny! Both the coffee and the fact that you call your plant "c-dawg".
ReplyDeleteHaha, I have so almost done that a few times, but usually its something like going to pour milk in my green tea instead of my husbands tea and what not!
ReplyDeletewheee!! this is so cool! I feel like gardening and planting is so much like LIFE in general. So much patience involved, and such an excitement to see the good fruit come out from good cultivating...just saying :D
ReplyDeleteOOOH NO! Hahah too funny! I hope your cilantro lives to see another day!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahah, I am the same way! Once I put black beans in my oatmeal b/c I thought they were blueberries,d'oh!

Love it!! I've totally put empty cartons back in the fridge. And if I'm missing something, it's probably in the fridge. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha that totally sounds like something I would do. I think I have a subconscious vendetta against plants, because they always manage to die when they're in my "care".
ReplyDeletehaha! love you girl! I have those days too! Missed you!!!!! Hope all is well and I am sure the house is coming along fast! so exciting!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo <3
shhhh… your secret is safe with us!
ReplyDeleteif the coffee was black it's okay for plants! :) (or at least that's what coworkers used to tell me when they dumped the rest of their cold coffee in the big plant in the office...
ReplyDeleteYou always make me laugh and I like it. Love the profile pic.
ReplyDeleteOne morning I was changing the toilet paper roll and put the new roll in the toilet instead of on the stand. Yea.
ReplyDeleteOh my chuckles! I needed a good laugh, and is totally something I would do! :) Glad I'm not alone!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jen
I can't tell you how many times I've tried to brew coffee without putting any water in the coffee maker. I've also tried to brew it without putting any coffee.
ReplyDeletewait....plants are supposed to be green and not yellow and crispy? maybe coffee is the trick!
ReplyDeleteGood job slick! :) I can't talk...I do stuff like that all the time. Do you grow your cilantro inside? I grow it outside but it always bolts and I don't get to use it much before it does.
ReplyDeletehahahhahahahaha...thats awesome
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA. This made me laugh so hard.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAH!!! This is hilarious! :-)
ReplyDeletebahahahah I laughed out loud. Good stuff. I am the exact same way in the morning. However, I don't drink coffee so I guess the only thing I have to put in my (non-existent) plants is orange juice or water.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg I'm dying right now!!
ReplyDeletehahhaaha - this is SO somehting I would do!
ReplyDeletebahaha I do the silliest things when I'm tired too. I've put body wash in my hair SO many times. Oh... and face wash on my tooth brush. That SUCKED
ReplyDeleteHaha nice! Love it!
ReplyDeletehey maybe the coffee plant needed a little pick-me-up....ever think about that?
ReplyDeletehehe.

ReplyDeletei'm special.
Ha ha, that is so funny. Today, I made myself a cup of tea with boiling water...and no tea.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, ohh how I love you, Jenn!! Thank you for bringing a very much needed smile to my face! :-D While I was staying in a hotel last week, I dumped a Crystal Light to-go stick into my coffee instead of my cup. For the record, coffee and lemonade DO NOT jive well together! <3
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Bahahaha!
ReplyDeleteEveryone/thing needs a little dose of coffee every once and a while... I'm sure C-dawg appreciates!
ReplyDeleteblair @ scsd
hahaha this is hilarious. Poor you. Poor plant. It happens. :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny! But I don't think zombies drink coffee. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. This just made my day. I totally do stuff like this all the time. Usually it's putting random things in the fridge or something of the sort. I love it!:)

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE cilantro! We use it a lot in Indian cooking. It looks so pretty :)
